On the other hand, we offer friendly encouragement and support for those who feel they are throwing away their life by wrong choices.  

We’ll love you by speaking God’s word to you in the midst of your trouble.  We will not hold back what God’s word may say to you.

If you are one of those who simply need space to enjoy Christian fellowship without the pressure of getting busy for God, we offer that too.  Why do we mention it?  Many times young believers are thrown out to evangelize and work the ministry of God without a strong foundation.  

We believe giving people grace and space to feel at home in Church is crucial to one’s personal growth.  Everyone has their own pace for growing and serving God.  When you’re ready and desirous to service Christ and His kingdom-business in the larger body, we then can certainly find you a place to do so.  

We believe the best kind of service for God is done with gratitude and freedom.

Welcome to Sweet River Church

Our church is made up of people with many different backgrounds and experiences.  Everyone is friendly and passionate for their savior.  We refuse to be judgmental, condemning, or self-righteous.  It’s just not our way.  We refuse to threaten with hell-fire sermons or manipulation tactics to get you to serve Christ.  Why?  Jesus never used

such tactics.  He reserved hell-fire sermons for those who were abusive and toxic with religious performance.
