Children are a top priority for us here at Sweet River Church. We know and understand how kids are bombarded on a daily basis with anti-Christian themes such as Harry Potter or Dungeon and Dragon games. We also know "some" public schools undermine your Christian values without asking for permission.
This is why our Children's ministry is such a high priority for us. As we grow, this ministry will develop more and more.
We offer a Children's-Church which begins right after our adult worship service and before the pastor's sermon about 11:30 a.m. each Sunday. The kids are dismissed from the adult service to their school-room where our teachers Laurel and Joshua lead them.
We offer Christian games, skits, puppets, singing, and bible stories for kids at the elementary school level. Any child who wants to remain in the adult service with their parents can do so at their parent's direction.
Currently Ms. Evelyn Krueger is our infant care teacher. She takes care of all the little ones up to five year old.
We monitor the class closely to make necessary changes as we go.
Again, the class runs simultaneous with the adult service after the adult song-service.
