We feel our group is theologically unique because of two distinctive doctrines.  Many search for a Church whose worship-service is passionate and spirit-filled.  They seek a place where the congregation comes alive in the manifest presence of God.  It's a place where His rich presence is easily felt and welcomed through heartfelt expression.

There is nothing more exciting than being in a room filled with passionate worshipers whose hands are lifted up without fear and doubting, and whose voices create an Acts chapter 2 kind of atmosphere. In addition, the power to get results over diseases, deliverance's, and even miracles is also part of the atmosphere.  This kind of thinking and expectancy unfortunately, has long past in many American Churches.

But some Charismatic and Pentecostal group are known for this kind of atmosphere to which we share a common bond.  On a different note, others seek a place where unlimited grace is taught and stressed often.  Statistics show how, one of the greatest turn-offs today among "seekers" is to attend a Church where grace is nowhere to be found.  Many have either redefined it, down-played it, or removed it altogether in the name of holiness.

A steady diet of “rule-keeping” Christianity (the perceived do's and don'ts of the faith) has historically produced nothing less than a toxic or hyper-spiritual group who inevitably become, judgmental, controlling, and manipulative in the name of holiness.

We certainly do not say all manipulation comes from legalistic views, however, we do know, where God's free-grace is preached often, freedom to serve Christ in gratitude rather than duty is not far behind.

Holiness is a worthy and biblical achievement to which every believer should strive to attain.  It's how one strives to attain it that makes all the difference in the world.

Serving God because it’s your duty to do so lest you end up in hell, produces nothing less than a fear-based life.  Serving God out of desire, produced from the understanding that Hell could never be in the equation for those who have received Jesus Christ as savior, produces a love-based life.  And that's the point.

We've posted our distinctive doctrines for two main reasons:

Firstly, for many people, these subjects are almost taboo.  Our view on God's manifest presence in worship along with the Eternal Security view on grace is almost never allowed to be discussed in a fair approach.

Secondly, we've posted these specific views because it comes up so often.  It is our experience that these two doctrinal issues seem to surface almost on a regular basis.

Both of our doctrines come from two different theological circles of fellowship.  The Baptism In The Spirit doctrine has its roots in a Pentecostal persuasion, while the Eternal Security doctrine comes from a Reformed Protestant view.

We feel our approach to these important truths is unique and rare because both views need each other in order to be most effective.

The Church today needs both biblical grace, and power, to properly represent the ministry of Christ.

We’ve taken time on this site to spell out our distinctive’s as much as possible.  At your leisure, with a pen, pad, and bible, come and study with us.
